SIGURD SAUE

Hello my name is Sigurd, I was born in Norway but grew up in Toulouse. I’ve always had a penchant for mathematics, which led me to do a double degree in economics and mathematics at the Toulouse School of Economics after my baccalaureate. It was during this double degree that I discovered my passion for Python and algorithms. As I also love statistics and applied maths, doing a Masters in Data Science seemed an obvious choice. So, at the end of my double degree, and after a gap year in England and Benin, I started the Data Science for Social Sciences master’s program at TSE, which introduced me to the world of ML/DL models, that I liked straight away. I joined Amphitrite in April 2025 for my end-of-study internship, working in the AI team for 6 months.
