Inès Larroche

Growing up in a pristine coastal village of Finistère, Brittany, fostered my passion for ocean conservation and environnemental matters from a very young age. A previous internship at the French Oceanographic Institute (IFREMER) strenghtened my desire to know more about physical oceanography. My commitment in the Grand Voilier Ecole association, and my various sailing experiences also taught me that the sea can be a place to create bounds, to reflect on social justice, on what it means to be a team and to commit for the community.

Deeply convinced that young professionals will shape the maritime sector’s transition. I decided to join Amphitrite for my end of studies internship, in order to dedicate my scientific skillls to the advance of maritime transportation decarbonization.
