Oussama Akar

I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics at École Polytechnique, with a strong academic foundation in computer science, theoretical mathematics, and economics. Prior to that, I completed two intensive years of preparatory classes to gain admission into École Polytechnique. In 2025, I joined AMPHITRITE as an intern in the AI team, working with Inès LARROCHE on wave prediction models. My previous experience includes a collaborative time series project with the Institut Pasteur, which sparked my interest in real-world applications of artificial intelligence.
